Okay so its not great but i only started today with the equipment to make the animation film.
The butterfly was my first doodle. & this here is an experiment in changing formats & uploading. It looks completely different in different formats. It should run faster, & i should be able to have it randomly fluttering about, but that is another project.
Its been a bit of a nightmare, its taken 4 weeks of the precious 3 months i had for the organisers to get me the equipment to even start training on, Ive been tearing my hair out in stress while they seem to have been inpervious to any sense of logistics with regard to film-making. its hard for me now to get stuck into it when i'm not sure whats actually achievable in the limited time left, & how much do i compromise & axe the original story ?
meanwhile;
the art therapy work with the kids who are carers, Is full on & very challenging, the hundreds of miles commute is good head-space tho.
Eldest daughter Blu-Tak started college today, Hurray !

hurrah ! snake macmongoose in full rant mode today, ah how i've missed the rage, its great.
I'm busy today juggling various installs & dongles & unlockcodes into various machines, the project peeps are now being right up-tight about licenses & getting the disc back to them yesterday etc... well i'm sorry this machines keep crashing, i need disc back up & thats that.
and Oy clements huney bunny less with the darling if you value your valuable bits.

Bou, just make copies of all the disks. Purely for back-up purposes you understand?
As for deadline- remind them that they have wasted weeks of your time, and the commission was accepted based on your brief. If you have to deviate from the brief then you aren't technically completing your contract. Basically, if they are arsey with you, get arsey back.
Glad to see the animation on the blog though, works nice.
the whole disc thing is a bit stupid, ive been playing with a trial demo off the net, which wouldnt run on my own machine hardly at all,
now ive got the legit copy from the states, ...its no different, unless it springs into life when they send the unlock code, which in 3 days they havent.
and youre supposed to have a stick in yer usb to use the program, again, it appears to make NO difference, maybe its a hardware version of a scarecrow, to scare pirates..
That'd be a 'scarepirate' then, not a 'scarecrow'..?
